| I am an English major and recently I have been begun to donate a large portion of my time into the study and reading of literature, specifically dealing with Lucifer and the images he has since inspired throughout history. I do not worship him, I merely like what he represents in the Christian religion. He is, supposedly, the second most powerful being in history and his fall came from challenging the Almighty. Literature is an amazing thing. Everyone has a slightly different interpretation, everyone likes aspects about characters and heroes and gods. What is truly fascinating though, is visual rpresentation and how those images change. Where did the first picture of an angel come from? Why are devils or demons painted red when we know that Satan was an angel, which are always depicted as white? I like to look at these and some of these images are inspiring the writing in me. Thanks for learning a bit about why I made this account |
